Hey everyone! Happy happy Monday! I hope all of you had the best weekend!! We sure did. We got to celebrate Lily Ryan’s birthday (which was actually over a week ago) with a mouse-themed party at our house this weekend! Our families came over to celebrate with us and we just had the best time. Photos of that coming later this week!
One really fun thing we got to do the day after Lily Ry’s actual birthday was spend the morning with my photographer friend Hannah Groat. Hannah is someone I’ve gotten to know over the past six months or so, and she is AMAZING. She is an incredible photographer with a passion for capturing real moments that will last a lifetime. She shared with me at the beginning of this session that she lost her mom when she was young, so some of her most prized possessions are the photos that she has of her and her mother.
Along that same vein, a precious friend of mine who lost her little boy about a year and a half ago said how priceless the professional photos that she has of their family are.
If there is one lesson to be learned from both of these experiences, it is to get GOOD photos of you and your people! They are great to have just in general, but they escalate in value when the Lord calls someone from those photos home.
Hannah took all of these photos of film, which I just love. Since I had SO many favorites from our session, I’m going to have to break them up into three separate posts over the next two weeks just so I don’t have one post with about 70 photos! Ha! I really did have that many favorites… I told y’all Hannah was good!
I broke them up into (1) cuddles and love, (2) my favorite black and whites, and (3) eating and playing! Since it’s Valentine’s Day week, I figured I’d start with cuddles and love!

Love the pictures of your family!!! It is important to get pictures of all 4 of you, because most of our family pictures don’t include me since I was taking the pictures!:-) Love on your babies all you can, it seems like just yesterday you were in my 5th grade class and now you areal grown up and have a beautiful family of your own!!!
