Currently I’m on an elderflower kick. The combination of falling in love with the new Fleur de Lis cocktail at The Veranda in Starkville and trying an elderflower cider a few weeks ago has got me loving this flavor! Plus, I’ve had a good friend talk for years about how good St. Germain (an elderflower liqueur) is, so finally I bought a bottle (which looks extra pretty on our bar at home!)
I was experimenting in the kitchen when the idea to make my own Edlerflower Cider came to me! It was so easy and SO tasty and refreshing!
What you’ll need:
2 parts hard cider
1 part St. Germain
sprig of rosemary
slice of lemon
Pull out your favorite glass and fill it 2/3 full with the hard cider of your choice. Fill the remaining 1/3 with St. Germain. Add a sprig of rosemary and a squeeze of lemon and you’re set! (Note: It helps if you chill your St. Germain before making this. The colder the better on this one, in my opinion!)
Do I have any fellow elderflower flavor lovers out there?! What’s your favorite way to enjoy it?!
My gosh, this looks fantastic. Trying this weekend!
