Halls Decked { A Belated Christmas Home Tour }

It has become a yearly thing for me to post a little mini tour of our house all decked out for Christmas! Usually I have it done weeks earlier than this. But for some reason, I haven’t been able to get it together this year until now! I think I’m realizing that with Wilson’s birthday and with Christmas With Cousin Eddie early in December, it’s hard for me to focus on much else at that time! Ha! Maybe next year I’ll be more on the ball.

Anyway, I did a little poll on Instagram to see if y’all might even want to see a home tour this late in the game and the answer was YES! I was pretty excited because I like to do these so I can look back at past “tours” to give myself ideas of what to (and what not to) do when decorating each year!

Without wasting any more time, here is our house this Christmas! We can start with the kids’ quarters!

Now for the master bedroom! Fun fact: that paper chain has been around for probably 5 or 6 years. I don’t know how it’s lasted! And I ripped the dried citrus idea straight from here.

Now for the main living spaces! We keep our colorful tree in Price’s man cave so it can be seen from the street, so for the past two years, we’ve also switched out the pillows in there for some holiday plaid! We put our new fake tree in the keeping room so we could have a tree to see while we were in there! My favorite place to sit is in the living room where I can see both trees AND the mantle all at once! 🙂

Oh, and I always enjoy taping our Christmas cards to the wall every year as they trickle in. That in itself is a decoration to me! 🙂

And that’s it! 🙂 How do y’all decorate for Christmas? I feel like my “holiday style” (if that’s really even a thing) is a little all over the place… I can’t commit to any one style, so we just have all the styles sprinkled around! ha! But I guess it works! 😉
