I Got Myself A Gift…

Newsflash: Mother’s Day is in less than two weeks! Have you gotten your mama a gift yet?

Since this is my first Mother’s Day to actually be a mommy to a baby outside the womb, I did something crazy and got a gift for myself! This pretty limited edition print is by artist Chelsey Scott from Minnesota, who I know all about now because I got her bio with the print (which is now taped to the back of her piece)! My art-collecting grandmother says it’s important to know the artist of every piece in your house, so to make her happy, I’m committing Chelsey’s name to memory!

I’m so happy to have this lovely piece in our home to always remind me of my first Mother’s Day to be able to hold my little boy in my arms! So thankful for that little bebe. 🙂
