Local Lovin’: Favorite Coffee Drink

In this installment of Local Lovin’, a fun little column my local blogger friend Nikki and I do once a month, we are talking about our favorite coffee drinks!

Although I have many, depending on my mood and the season, I have to say that my favorite right now is the sugar free mocha frappe from Seattle Drip! I love the convenience of the little drive through huts located throughout town, and they always have the friendliest servers! And this drink has really been keeping me a few degrees cooler during this crazy hot summer!

Not only is it made with sugar free chocolate syrup (which, in my opinion, does not have the typical sugar free disgusting taste), but I request to get mine made with almond milk instead and they always happily oblige! That makes me feel like it’s a hair healthier than if I just ordered it as is.

If I’m getting coffee first thing in the morning and haven’t had a chance to work up a sweat yet, I’m still loving on the drink my friend Elish introduced me to at Cups. It’s a blondie, hot, made with almond milk and only half the sweetness. It is sooooooeeeur good!

And when I’m not pregnant, I love just plain black coffee. Truly. I started drinking it that way in college to (a) save calories and (b) because I am just a little bit lazy. Oh, and (c) my dad drinks his coffee black and I think he’s pretty awesome so I want to be more like him! 🙂

What’s your favorite local coffee drink these days? I’d love to hear and expand my coffee horizons! Share away! 🙂

Also! Be sure to see what Nikki’s favorite local coffee drink is… Here’s a teaser!

    Sugar-free without that weird sugar-free taste?! I’m sold! 🙂

Yes I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the non-icky taste of this sugar free chocolate! Worth a shot!
