Welcome back from the weekend! I hope all of you had a wonderful one!

… Still enjoying some twinkly decorations that I am currently calling “winter decorations.” Yes, Christmas is over, but it’s ok to leave out some of the neutral decorative items for the remainder of the winter, right?! These will probably somehow morph into Valentine’s decorations because I like festive things and any excuse to have out some happy lights!

… Being reminded about the importance of our word choices through this simple scripture. A gentle answer turns away wrath, but harsh words stir up anger. Sometimes we have no idea how long-lasting our words can be for the person to whom they were spoken. One hurtful comment can stick with someone for way too long, even if it didn’t seem like that big of a deal to you. On the flip side, one positive comment or compliment or word of encouragement can do the same thing! You lifting someone’s spirits can stick with them for the longest time even if you forget about it the next day! So I just wanted to share and encourage you to lift up those around you with your words today! 🙂
