I have been DYING to share the pictures of Wilson’s birthday party, so I’m suuuuper excited about today’s post! I still can’t believe I have a three year old. I love this age so much and kinda wish I could freeze it! But I know the best is yet to come 🙂 Life is good (as well as challenging) with this superhero-loving little dude and his hilarious little sister!

Back in probably September, Price and I started asking Wilson what sort of birthday party he wanted. The most common answers were “black,” “blue,” “Batman,” “red,” and “Spider-Man.” As the time to zero in on a theme drew near, the answers began to be more superhero centered and less color centered. So Batman/Spider-Man/SUPERHEROES it was!

This was hard for me because I LOVE planning unique parties and doing outside-the-box themes. Since ‘superhero’ is so common, I tried to keep it central to what my child wanted while also making it different from all the other superhero parties out there (which are all super cute! I just wanted something different. Since this party was all about me and all… 😉 Ha!) It was a challenge! These neon Meri Meri masks introduced some neon into our color scheme which I think helped make it slightly different and not so primary as far as colors.  I’m not exactly sure I achieved my goal, but I was happy with how it turned out. And most importantly, our little Spider-Man loved it!

Now for the invite and tons of pictures…

I plan to post more people pictures on Facebook! All of these photos, by the way, were captured by the FANTASTIC Rachel Watters. Love how they turned out! These will be forever treasures. Thank you, Rachel!!

Madison/Jackson friends, in case you’re interested in knowing a little more, our cake is from Scarlett Vineyard, cookies from The Honeycomb, big jump jump rented from Moonjump of Madison (we already had the smaller one), venue was The ROC at our church (Broadmoor), aaaaand I think that’s about it!

Thank y’all SO MUCH for dropping by today! And one more HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Wilson! 🙂

Hope you’re having a wonderful week!! XO!

// Wilson’s next birthday party will be dino themed! And much more simple. Grabbing these masks, this set of plates/napkins/etc, this banner, and these table cloths. Should be fun! //

Hey! They are just the small Dasani waters and I made the little sky blue wrappers and taped them on!
