Snacking In Style

I think one of my favorite brands ever is Cheeky Home. Are y’all familiar? It started as a paper goods company, selling things like paper plates, plastic cups, paper napkins… That sort of stuff. Their products are always so nicely designed, which appeals to the wanna be graphic designer in me, and they actually have an incredible purpose! For each Cheeky Home item you purchase, they, along with their partners No Kid Hungry and Feeding America, donate one meal.

I honestly didn’t realize what a prevalent issue hunger is in the United States. Check out these stats. Goodness! That is so humbling, isn’t it? It makes you thankful for having food to eat every day!

So my friends at Cheeky and I have teamed up again to share a relatively new facet to their product line– Cheeky Kids Mealtime products! These plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery are dishwasher safe items your kids will love eating off of! They, too, are products that give back! If you’re going to buy the kiddos their own plates and forks and cups anyway, why not make your purchase count?!

We’ve been enjoying the monster items and the arctic items! Wilson likes to talk for the monsters, giving them voices about what the food they’re “all” eating. And Lily Ryan just likes to ask “what’s that?” about evvvveryyyythinnnnngggg. It’s cute though, of course! 😉

Some of our favorite healthy snacks are LaraBars, nuts (my kids eat raw almonds… This is a miracle!), freeze dried fruit, fresh fruit (particularly apples when served with peanut butter!), healthy homemade pumpkin or banana breads, apple sauce pouches, and homemade popsicles with things like spinach and carrots sneakily mixed in!

What are your favorite kid-friendly healthy snacks? I’d love to know– I’m always looking to add to my list!

Thank y’all so much for stopping by today. I hope you’re having a great week so far!
