Suede Shift

 

Happy Friday!!!

Man am I glad it’s the end of the week. It’s been a good week but it’s been a hard one! Just lots going on, lots of deadlines, and piles of laundry! But I’m so thankful for the things that made it a hard week so I guess I have zero to complain about! 🙂

Let’s talk about clothes shall we?! I got this fun little shift dress at Old Navy recently and I have loved it! (And as I am currently writing, this thing is only $19!!!) It’s suedey, caramely, and comfy! I also love the cut. Shift dresses make me feel a little retro, so I added some sunglasses that remind me of my late grandmother. I think she would’ve loved these 🙂

This dress is perfect for a Mississippi fall where it can still be a little warm during the days. When it does get chillier, jackets, tights, tall boots and scarves will take it right on into cold weather seamlessly!

We are in town for the weekend and I’m preeeetty pumped. Although I love traveling on weekends, I especially love weekends at home with few plans on the agenda. I do plan on making the pumpkin bread that I mentioned here using coconut oil instead of olive oil, so i’ll keep you posted on which I thought was better! Heck, I may even venture to try a new LaCroix cocktail recipe. (See the other two I’ve tried recently here and here!) You just never know 😉
