Hey guys! Sorry for the brief hiatus I took there for a few days… With Donahoo Law Firm underway plus a quick trip to the beach recently under our belts (you can see highlights on insta!), I’ve just been a little bit off lately! Even though I’ve only been gone a few days, I’ve MISSED y’all!! (I sincerely love my readers!)
SO! Let’s talk some more about summer! It’s summertime out there. Have y’all felt it in the air? All that lovely humidity and stickiness? And just pure happiness despite all that?! I’ve definitely been feeling it! (And loving it, since I’d rather be ultra hot than just a little bit cold. I know, I’m weird.)
Since I got this dress a few weeks ago, I’ve worn it three times because of its versatility (church, work, farmers market… It adapts to everything!) AND because of its light weight nature. It’s the perfect breezy dress for the hot weather, plus blue and white stripes just scream summery perfection! Wouldn’t you agree?!

We took these pictures before I left for work earlier this week, and the kids were home with us, so they were outside running around during photo taking. Well, Wilson is potty training right now, and while we were at the beach a few days ago, whenever we were outside and weren’t near a bathroom and he needed to pee, we would just sneak him over to some bushes somewhere so he could relieve himself. Welp, apparently that’s what he thinks is semi normal now because, THIS:
I had to laugh. Price and I both howled, actually. It was too funny! Partially because he was so proud of himself. “Look mama! I go in da bushes! YAY!” I guess we have a little reverse teaching to do… But since he’s still so little, I think it’s more cute than bad at this point… Go ahead and judge! 😉
