Super Bling

I recently completed a really fun bachelorette invitation project that I wanted to share with y’all! This was extremely outside the box for me (I guess because I don’t normally go all out girly/blingy/glammy like this) but it was SO much fun! I seriously had a blast designing these and putting them together.

In the words of my client, “I cannot stress to you how important it is for these things to be as sparkly as possible! We need DRAMA!”

Coming right up!

The client had the bustier and ring die cuts sent to me for incorporation into the design. We went with a triple layer invitation and insert card with heavy pink card stock, silver glitter paper, then the printed piece!

I hand wrote the bachelorette’s name on each one since we couldn’t figure out another way to get her name printed in a sparkly pink ink, and there were a few other details that were hand drawn or hand painted (like the watercolored pink banners!)

I loved the idea of the guests bringing either lingerie or champagne to the lingerie shower they’re throwing for the bride on the trip. What a fun idea! What bride doesn’t love a little extra bubbly to celebrate this fun and exciting time in her life?!

Overall, the client and I were super pleased with how they turned out! This was such a great project to get me thinking differently from normal!

On a separate note, I hope y’all had a great weekend!! We finally sold our old house so as bittersweet as that was emotionally, we are so glad to not have to worry about that anymore! And we loved meeting the new homeowners at the closing. They were so nice, so I think they’ll treat that cute house well! 😉

We also made it up to Starkville for a chill non-football weekend of eating and walking around. It was awesome! (But now I’m SUPER ready for football season!!)

What did y’all do this weekend? Hope it was a great one!
