THE MANE EVENT is happening soon! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen me post about it over the past several weeks. But I wanted to take a minute and share more about what you can expect if you come!!
So my blogger friend Meagan, my salon-owning friend Molly Gee, and I started talking one day about how fun it would be if we could put on an event talking about everyday hair styling! Meagan and I both see Molly Gee at Static for our cut/color, but we both felt like we are always in need of more hair care tips and easy styling tricks. We figured we weren’t alone. And Molly Gee and her talented team are the PERFECT people to enlighten us on the topic since they work with hair all day, errday!
Through all of this, THE MANE EVENT was born. There are some days when my mane is just OOC and I’m desperate for an easy style that will tame my flyaways. (This was particularly a problem when I had brand new babies and all my hair that fell out started growing back in impossible-to-tame little wisps! And it’s about to happen again at the end of the year!)
If you purchase a ticket to the event (they are $35), you can expect to hear Molly Gee talk about basic hair care, everyday tricks for maintaining that mane, styling tips, easy curling techniques, ways to make your washes last longer, how to deal with a bad hair day (essentially eliminating bad hair days all together!), and you’ll even get visual aids on three different hairstyles. THEN, we will have breakout sessions where you can get a trained stylist to help you recreate an easy, everyday style on yourself (with a little professional guidance) if you wish! This event is for women with all different hair types, so do not let your “weird” type of hair keep you from considering coming! This is for all women!
In addition to all the hair goodness, we’ll have a bubbly bar, some swanky snacks, and some SWAG BAGS! (Who doesn’t love a good swag bag?) We are working hard on these and I think they’re gonna be preeeeetty fab.
