I am so excited about a new addition to Wilson’s room that I just got situated over the weekend! Wilson (like his daddy) is fascinated with stars and space and all of the cool things that comprise the heavens up above, so when I saw this customizable star map, I knew it was something we had to have for our sweet little star lover!
These star maps are really cool because, once you set your date and your location for whatever special occasion or happening — this particular happening was Wilson’s birthday: December 5, 2014 in Jackson, MS! — the stars that show on the poster are exactly how they were on that particular night in that particular geographical location! So if your location was last Friday in London, your map would look different from this one. Because the night sky seen there would’ve been so different! Isn’t that neat?
The funny thing about these star maps is, Price actually ordered one for me as a surprise to commemorate our anniversary without having a clue that I’d gotten this one coming for Wilson! It’s really neat that we were both on the same wavelength without even knowing 🙂 So the one Price got for me is currently in our bathroom! I love them so much, I want to get one for Lily Ryan and for baby brother too once we have a birthday for him! 🙂
With all that we have going on as far as fruit basket turning over at our house, this map probably won’t stay in this location long, but it’ll certainly be a part of Wilson’s room from here on out. 🙂
