The Raspy Rose

I was playing around with a few cocktail ingredients last week and ended up with a drink that I found to be pretty darn tasty! Any time I have gin and St. Germain in the mix, I totally feel like I’m enjoying something Daisy Buchanan would’ve enjoyed!

The amount I ended up experimentally making was enough for two drinks, so be sure to have a friend/spouse with ya when you make this lovely little spirit!

Since the main flavory components are raspberries and rosemary, I’m calling it The Raspy Rose 🙂

>> WHAT YOU’LL NEED <<

2 sprigs of rosemary
10-12 raspberries
simple syrup
1 oz. St. Germain elderflower liqueur
3 oz. Gin
Crushed Ice
Sparkling water

>> WHAT YOU’LL DO <<

Muddle one sprig of rosemary, all of the raspberries, and about a tablespoon of simple syrup in the bottom of a mixer.

Add the gin, St. Germain, and crushed ice to the mixer and shake.

Strain the mixture evenly into two cups, fill with fresh crushed ice, and top with the sparkling water. Break the remaining sprig of rosemary in half and use for garnish on the two drinks.
