Hey! Wow, it’s been a minute. I’m hopping on today while a have a few minutes before I have to run to a meeting. And I guess the main reason I’m hopping on is to acknowledge Dooley Day, which came and went weeks ago (10/18) and I completely missed posting about it here on the blog. I did post about it on Instagram, but I’ve never – since I’ve had this blog – missed posting about Dooley on the blog.
Media has changed and I guess my media emphasis priorities have changed (more to Instagram) but I still feel like blog posts are more special. More permanent.
So I’ve felt like a crummy sister missing the post here. But I’ll try to give myself a little grace and go with the “better late than never” philosophy! 🙂

Since October 18th was on a Saturday this year, we had a really nice low-key day talking about sweet Dooley! We looked at some old pictures and looked at a scrapbook with him in it. We did our super fun annual Reese’s taste test (read more about that here) and found Reese’s Pieces to reign supreme as the superior Reese’s product! The Big Cup with Caramel was a close second, and the Big Cup with jelly was actually a surprising front runner amongst the grown ups! Offical IG post recapping the taste test is here!

I miss Dooley all the time. I have a million questions about what he would look like / be doing these days. I actually gave Chat GPT a photo of Dooley and asked what that kid might look like with an extra 20ish years on him. Chat failed miserably, as the product looked nothing (NOTHING) like Dooley! haha it was worth a shot though 🙂
If you knew Dooley, I hope you have fond memories of him. If you didn’t, I hope you know Jesus. (I hope you know Jesus even if you did know him!) Faith in Jesus comes with the free gift of eternal life, and Dooley is 100% spending eternal life with Jesus right now! I’ll be there too one day! 🙂 Will you? You can meet him then!
