What a joy it is to be included amongst all of the many beautiful local businesses represented in this book! 🥰 @audrabowmanlifestyle put on a heck of a party to launch this issue and it was just the most fun! I love Mississippi and all of the good it has to offer. There is so much here 💛

Does anyone else find themselves enjoying their kids’ stuff when they’re away? 😂

Dempsey got a @makeafort for Christmas and we are having THE MOST FUN!!! I might be enjoying it as much as (or perhaps more than?) he is! We made a “sleeping fort” and I may or may not have taken over and read in there one day while he was at school 🤣 It just seemed like a crime for it to not be enjoyed in the middle of the day 🤪

I’m on a mission to find wonder at every turn and, to me, this counts 🥰 Little joys are everywhere if you look for them!

How absolutely PRECIOUS is this treehouse/ art house in my friend’s backyard? 🥰 She turned it into the bar for a bridal shower and it was so perfectly whimsical! ✨ (This was from October, but I realize I never shared. It’s too good not to!)

Don’t think I haven’t been thinking about how/where I can add stairs to our tree house to create a similar vibe! 😆

Not only do I love the look and feel of this thing, but daisies always remind me of my college/early post grad alter ego, Daisy Buchanan. 🤣 Sometimes I’d go with Penny Lane, then *other* times I’d swap it up with Penny Buchanan or Daisy Lane, just for fun! Did anyone else use an inaccurate name back in the day? There were just sometimes when I really didn’t want that weirdo at Club Fire to know who I actually was, ya know? 🔥😂

Although it ended with a Roman-candle-induced brush fire, 2025 overall was wonderful and 2026 is shaping up to be pretty lovely, too! So thankful for a few days away with some pretty awesome company, lots of games, plenty of food, and so many laughs!

To quote @pricedonahoo’s grandfather, “we are better than we deserve!”
