The Lemon Flower | A Cocktail Recipe

I can’t really explain why, but one of my favorite things to do when I have a few minutes is to create random craft cocktails!

I made one a few weeks ago that was actually pretty good, so I’ve made it several times since then! I call it The Lemon Flower because it involves fresh lemon juice and the best elderflower liqueur ever– St. Germain!

The Lemon Germain | A Craft Cocktail // THE HIVE

Here’s what ya need:

2 oz. vodka
juice of 1 lemon
1/2 oz. St. Germain
3 shakes of Angostura aromatic bitters

Combine all ingredients, plus crushed ice, in a drink shaker.

Shake that baby like a shake weight.

Pour the strained mixture into a pretty glass, garnish with lemon peel if you so choose, and sip away!

When I close my eyes and sip on this, it gives me a Midnight in Paris moment. And I love it! I hope that if you make this, you enjoy it as much as I do!

S’AMUSER!

(^ That’s French for “enjoy.” Don’t be fooled into thinking I just knew that off the top of my head! Thanks Google!)
