Last weekend, Price and I had the chance to get in a little day date for brunch to my favorite French restaurant, Anjou! I have been a big fan of Anjou ever since it opened, so I eat there every time I get the chance.

Their brunch is one of my favorites in town. They have so many great options! When Price and I went, I tried a newer item on their brunch menu that I’d never tried before: Baked French Toast. It was almost bread pudding like (which is one of my favorite desserts) so of course I LOVED IT! Having a side of coffee and one of their delicious brunch mimosas (I tried the Elderberry Mimosa because I’m a huge St. Germain fan) made it even better.

Oh! I almost forgot to mention the appetizer we tried! We gave their Redfish Beignets a try and they were a hit! I normally don’t order seafood, but Price really wanted to try them and we were both very pleased! They were slightly seafood-y, but not overly so, and they came with this great Gribiche sauce, so I liked them. I think Price could’ve eaten 25 of them if they’d brought that many! They really were delish.

Anjou serves brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, so if you have the chance to get in there, I highly recommend it! And one of you will get to go on the house! Anjou has been so kind to partner with me to give away a gift card for brunch for two to one of you! Hop on over to my instagram (@laurel_at_thehive) and find the post with that first picture in this post and follow the instructions to get entered. (It’s easy, I promise.)

Winner will be announced the evening of Thursday, August 8th.
