I’m sure you’ve heard quotes throughout your life about the little things and how important little things are, right?! I love the little things. Like a handwritten card in the mail, or the sun poking through the clouds in an extra beautiful way, or seeing that Price already put the dogs in their crate at night leaving me with one less thing to do before crawling into bed. Little things are what make the world go round!
In my opinion, little celebrations are part of “the little things.” Around the Hoo House over here, we try to keep morale high by celebrating basically everything we can. You had a great day at work? Awesome, let’s go get Mexican! Wilson went a full day without having a potty accident? Bust out a new pint of Halo Top!
My personal favorite way to celebrate something little (or big for that matter) is with Italian Bubbles. Italian Bubbles is my FAVORITE celebratory drink. It’s happy (because it has bubbles), its not too sweet and not too dry, and everyone who tries it likes it! (Or at least they tell me they like it!) 😉 Most importantly, it has killer branding so it always looks good sitting on your counter (pre-popping) and looks lovely in photos! I must admit, the label is why I bought it the first time. But the excellence is what keeps me continuing to buy it. I try to have a bottle chilled at all times because you just never know when your neighbor is gonna bring your runaway dog home (which, of course, calls for celebration!)
I like pairing it with some little finger snacks and sitting on our porch with my co-celebrant 🙂
Recently we have had a lot to celebrate with Price going out on his own with Donahoo Law Firm and with me reaching a few self-set goals with this here little blog! Celebrating the little things helps build up the happy memories to keep in your nostalgic account. And, as we all know, not every day is worth celebrating, so we need those bits to pull from to help keep our spirits high on the days that aren’t so great.
// chairs // mini latte bowls // coupe glasses- mine are vintage but I LOVE these! // similar gold tray // Y’all don’t mind our wooden Texas cooler in the background. I believe Price purchased that at Kroger on a whim… #texasforever //
To get yourself a bottle or five of Italian Bubbles, head on over to Colony Wine Market in Madison! They pretty much always have several bottles in stock. You might see something else you want to try, too! (Be sure to tell me about it so I can try it too if it’s something you fall in love with!)
Thank y’all for visiting today! I hope your day is the absolute best! Have a killer weekend!
