Christmas Shopping at Madison Marketplace

Come with me! I have something to show you!

I stopped into Madison Marketplace on Madison Avenue in [you guessed it!] Madison, MS earlier this week and was so thrilled with the plethora of finds in there!

For those of you who aren’t familiar, Madison Marketplace is in an old house and is divided out into booths/rooms, all of which are rented by artisans, boutique owners, food people, seamstresses, potters, candle makers, and SO much more! They have some of the GREATEST stuff!

There is a LOT to see when you go in, so I wanted to decrease any overwhelm you might feel about going in and show you some of my favorite things that I think would make great Christmas gifts!

Remember, this is only a very small fraction of what they have available, so please do yourself a favor and stop in for yourself! I promise you’ll find something great!! There is something for everyone on your list…

These are just a few of the AMAZING handmade ornaments they have available. I think ornaments are so much fun to give AND to get! How exquisite are those nativity scenes in the oyster shells?!

CANDLES. I simply adore a good smelling candle! If you ever find me not excited about a Christmas candle, then you can be certain I am not feeling well. Candles just light me up!!! 😉

Speaking of candles, behind Christmas candles, my favorite type of candle is masculine. These all smelled FABULOUS and very manly! These are hand poured in Nashville! And to continue with manly things, if any of the men in your life have a beard, I thought these socks were so cute and this beard oil smelled SO GOOD!!!

Next up: Mississippi pottery!

I am a HUGE fan of Sharon Blackledge’s pottery. These nativity sets stole my heart last year so I was thrilled to see that there was great stock in them for this year! Sharon can do no wrong, so please be sure to check out all of her pottery. I have several of her pieces and simply love them all!!

I also love the fun retro magnets and little bird bud vases by JR Webb out of Canton! SO precious. I think all of these things would make fabulous teachers’ gifts!

I am of the opinion that one can never have too many kitchen towels or pot holders! How fun are these? They even have potholder making kits for kids! I remember having one of those kits when I was little and loved it.

While we’re talking about spending time in the kitchen with hand towels and pot holders, let’s talk about some food and drink! These little Savvy Gourmand dip mixes are THE BOMB. Madison Marketplace has some of these dips out at all of their events and I’ve tried several. All fabulous. If you’re going to a little gathering any time soon and need to bring food, come and get some of this dip mix!

Also, the SWOON brand of zero and low calorie simple syrups, drink mixers, and sodas is amazing! I actually got to participate in a little SWOON campaign last year and was very impressed by this brand! Health-conscious (nothing artificial), great taste (the sweet comes from monk fruit), and how cute is their packaging!? 😉 I’m a sucker for great marketing.

Ok let’s talk about the youngsters! I thought this pizza sidewalk chalk was WAY too cute for elementary and preschool aged littles! And for the older youngsters, I loved this bluetooth disco ball! I mean, I kind want that, but you know a teenage girl would be all about that!

They have apparel, jewelry, handy little kits… I’m serious, you might could do all your christmas shopping in there!
