Christmas Tea

Christmas Tea Recipe as found on Lauren Steele's blog!

One of my favorite ways to kick off the holiday season is to make a batch of the Christmas Tea that I saw on my friend Lauren’s blog! This is Lauren’s grandmother’s recipe and it is simply delightful!! I serve it at pretty much all the Thanksgiving/Christmas functions we host at our house and it’s always a hit! I’ve changed one little thing to cut down on one ingredient purchase, but otherwise I go exactly by Lauren’s grandmother’s recipe!

  • 1 gallon water
  • 2 sticks whole cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons whole cloves
  • 2 large tea bags (family size, Lipton)
  • 1 cup sugar (I use stevia in the raw)
  • 1 3-ounce package raspberry gelatin
  • 1 quart (32 ounces) cran-apple juice
  • 1 cup Lemon juice
  • 1 6-ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate

Directions: Bring water with cinnamon and cloves to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove spices. Add tea bags and steep for 6 minutes. Remove tea bags. Add sugar and gelatin and stir until dissolved. Add juice.

This can be enjoyed hot or cold. I love it both ways! I actually tried it with champagne as a mimosa of sorts over the weekend and I’M A FAN!! I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do if you get the chance to make it!

Happy Thanksgiving and almost Christmas!! XOXO!
