So I am really really REALLY excited about this weekend! Mississippi State’s first game (and first home game) is this weekend so our lil fam is headed up to Starkville to take part of the festivities! I love football season. It just brings so many good feelings with it… It makes me think about college and all the fun that was had during those 4 years, it makes me kinda pretend that I’m a part of Friday Night Lights, and it gets me super excited for Thanksgiving and subsequently CHRISTMAS!! AHHH! But I’ll not freak y’all out with the fact that I’m already listening to Christmas music… Or will I…? Looks like I just did.
Anyway. On to more important things.
This year, Mississippi State has a new clear bag policy. THANKFULLY my sister in law is the bomb and ordered multiple clear bags for both of her stores (Arco Avenue and Row 10 Baby), so I had a pretty cute little selection from which to pick. I ended up picking this guy because he’s the biggest and I’m gonna be toting all our baby stuff along with my own stuff. Plus I’m sure Price will ask me to stash his cowbell. And his wallet. And his sunglasses. And no telling what else! So on the bigger side (it’s actually the max size that is allowed by this new rule) was what I felt was best for our family! Plus it’s just super cute!!! I love it! 🙂
As far as game day attire… It’s pretty much always hot for the entire season down here. Occasionally one or two games will be cold, but for the most part, you’re going to need breezy clothes. (I could be remembering this incorrectly because I have been pregnant [read: HOT] the past two football seasons so my memory may be a little skewed…)
And of course school spirit is of course a pretty major factor when picking attire! Enter this maroon dress from Old Navy. I love this style! I feel like it’s flattering and forgiving all at the same time! And forgiving is a must when tailgate food is on your game day agenda… Amiright?
