Four Travel Tips and Five Star Luggage Sets

FOUR TRAVEL TIPS AND FIVE STAR LUGGAGE SETS

We just got back from a fabulous vacation to South Carolina (more on that later, I’m sure!) but while I have it on the brain, I wanted to share some quick travel tips!

one. Wear your hair down or in an extreme top knot on the very top of your dome. Ponytails and half-up hair make it too hard to get your head comfortable if you get the chance to nap on the plane.

two. Take a sleeve to wear on the plane in the event it’s 60 degrees on there! I don’t know what it is about airplanes, but they seem to either be 60 or 85. There is not much in-between. So be sure your sleeve is removable in case you get on the 85 degree one! THIS ONE worked well for me on this recent trip!

three. If you’re traveling with kids who like to have their own cup (particularly if it’s a younger kid who can’t drink out of, like, a Dasani water bottle very well yet), put the empty cup in your carry on, then buy some water or juice once you get through security to put in it. Just so you don’t have to deal with TSA thinking your child’s Naked juice has explosives in it or something.

four. ROLLING LUGGAGE. Good rolling luggage, I mean. It makes travel one thousand times easier. I am actually in the market for a new set because our old set has a bum wheel on one suitcase and a missing handle on the other. I’ve rounded up a bunch of sets from the Zon that all have greater than four star reviews! If you’re in the market for some new luggage, too, hopefully you’ll find something you like here! All of these sets are under $230. Some are closer to $100!

Happy travels to any other travelers out there! Stay safe, use lots of hand sanitizer, remember that it’s normal to yell at your kids about not touching a bunch of unnecessary surfaces right now — we all get it — and HAVE FUN!

Thanks a million for stopping in today! Happy summer! xo!
