Remember me mentioning my sugar OD from the weekend? Well, it was due in large part to this funfetti cheesecake! Y’all…
Price isn’t much of a sweets eater so when he asks that I make a dessert, my sweet tooth and I happily oblige! He sent me this recipe from Delish and it was ON.
I followed it very closely except where is says to use “birthday cake mix” (which I’m not sure what that exactly is to be quite honest… that’s rather subjective if you ask me!) I used funfetti cake mix! This recipe is called “Funfetti Cheesecake” due to the sprinkles on the top, but I figured, why not go big. All or nothin, you know?
The recipe was VERY easy! The only part that took any time at all was whipping the cream until it formed peaks. But with a KitchenAid mixer, you can just let it go for a while! Don’t let it get too whipped though… I’ve made that mistake before! It gets hard and gross if you go too long.
Oh, another part that took some time was the minimum 6 hour refrigeration it calls for, too! Beware in case you think at 6:00 “oh I’ll make this for dessert tonight!” Probably not gonna happen 🙂
This dish calls for a colorful serving setting if you ask me! 😉 I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
Thank you SO MUCH for dropping in today! I hope you’re having a good week so far! 🙂 Oh, and if you like sprinkle themed stuff, check out this baby sprinkle! I’ll forever think of this fun party from now on when I hear the word “sprinkle!”
Sprinkle, sprinkle baby!
