If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I’ve been in major giveaway mode lately with my 4K giveaway! Thank you to ALL who participated– I hope you had as much fun as I did!
I did have one precious friend contact me who is not on Instagram asking if I had any giveaways planned for just the blog, so for her and others in her camp, HERE YA GO!
I’m teaming up with my friends at Phive Rivers, a company with some really beautiful handmade leather goods (follow them on Instagram here!), to give away a gorgeous wallet!! This wallet coordinates with the Phive Rivers handbag that I have pictured in these photos, and is of the same high quality. I absolutely love this handbag — I get compliments every time I use it! — so I am certain the wallet will be a favorite staple to whoever wins it!

To enter to win the wallet, simply comment below with one random fact about you! Here’s my random fact: Today is my birthday, so it was 34 years ago today that my rockstar mother birthed the heaviest twins ever to be born in Mississippi! And she did not have a c-section, for what that’s worth! My bother Jordan and I were 17 pounds together– I was 8’3 and he was 8’13! Can you IMAGINE? So now you tell me your random fact! š
Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by today. I’ll select a winner a week from today on April 9th!
Huge thanks to Phive Rivers for making this giveaway possible! All opinion are my own!
I am the mother of three, wonderful, adult sons!š ā¾ļøš¶ššš
That is amazing! You’re a rockstar for raising three boys!
When the kids were younger, 3 out of the 4 of us, had on casts from separate incidents all at the same time!š
Oh my goodness I hope y’all have pictures! I would love to hear the backstory on all this! ha!
Happy birthday! That is an amazing fact and something to be proud of!
Random fact about me: I have a scar from a terrible schoolyard accident that involved scraping my head on a piece of jagged concrete. No hair grows where the scar is, but luckily you can’t tell unless I have my hair tied back in a tight ponytail (which I never do for obvious reasons).
Oh my goodness that sounds so awful! Glad it healed and you are overall okay! I have a scar on my head where no hair grows either because I passed out during rush my freshman year of college (because I had not eaten enough and I locked my knees while standing in a line for too long. NOT because of alcohol! ha!) and I hit my head on a brick step and had to be taken to the ER to get my head stapled. SO I missed out on theme night of rush and had to go to pref night with nasty hair because I couldn’t wash it! hahah it is truly a miracle that I got a bid after all that craziness! š
I finished HighSchool early and was only 16 when I started college. I turned 17 in the fall but was still very young to be sent away to college. I had to learn to do life in a hurry. By the time I graduated 4 years later I was only 20 years old. Next step was to get married and start my first year of teaching as a first grade teacher. My first pay check was a little less than $500.00 after taxes. Not very much for a proven hard worker was it?
Wow that’s crazy! I know you were a great teacher, though!
I started dating my husband when I was 15 and he was 17. After steadily dating for seven years, we finally married in 2007! We’ve now been married for 12 years. Also, I had a crush on him when I was in sixth grade, but was too shy to even talk to him! Amazing how the Lord works everything out for good!
That is so sweet! Love it! š
Hope yallās birthday was greatā£ļø I must add that food tasted really good when yāall were in-utero, hence your amazing size š¶š¼š¶š¼ Along with the ārockstarā title (thanks!) I must accept the title of ābeached whaleā (from your daddy).
Random fact: At the end of first grade, I was carrying my left-over school supplies in a paper grocery bag that blocked my view. Road workers were repairing a pothole, & I tripped over & spilled a bucket of hot tar, then fell right into the sticky, hot puddle. What a mess! I walked (& cried) all the way home with my legs covered in tar. I was upset because my crayons had become part of the road!
Aw mama that makes me want to cry!! And knowing you, I know you were most upset about your crayons melting and not so much about the hot tar. I’m so sorry! For many reasons, you are a rockstar! š
Random fact: I scored two hat tricks(6 goals) in ONE soccer game when I was in the 8th grade. We won. Lol
Also, Happy belated birthday! I hope Price spoiled you on your special day! And every day. Haha
That is amazing! I am not surprised at all that y’all won! š And yes, Price has been spoiling me extra these past few days! š
Random fact about me: I LOVE finding recipes to try on blogs. I have tons of cookbooks, but blogs are my favorite.
I am the same way, Annette! I think I like recipes on blogs for all the commentary and substitution ideas!
Random fact: Iām deaf in my left ear and wear a hearing aide!
Happy birthday Laurel!!
Gray!! I did not know this but I’m so glad to know it now! You’re the cutest! š
Random Fact: I am an OCD bed maker. It doesn’t matter if it is 5 minutes before I get in bed, I have to make it or my world is not right.
I WISH I was more like this! I guess, in total contrast, I feel like I’ve given myself such a treat when I actually DO make my bed! ha!
Random fact: growing up my entire family had āsā names for their first and last name š
I love that about the Spencer/Spengler clan! š Y’all are the cutest!
Fun fact about me: I hardly ever miss watching a Jeopardy!
Love reading your blog. Keep up the good work!
Fun fact: everyone in my family has a name that starts with a except for me.
Maggie! CONGRATS! You are the winner from a random number generator! Woo hoo! I’ll text ya!
