Here’s hoping your new year is off to a wonderful start! I’m always so slow over here on updating the blog… I’m not sure I’ll never get better… haha if I’m being honest with myself! But things can only improve! 😉
We had a low key New Years celebration at our deer camp. And I adapted a poem I wrote from last year for THIS year!
To Twenty Twenty Five:
To more joy seeking,
light leaking,
smile inducing,
laughter producing,
good, relaxed times
(accompanied by cheesy rhymes!)
To owning mistakes,
Pumping the brakes,
Learning and growing,
forgiveness showing,
and trying to take the less traveled way
every single day.
To more I love yous
less watching the news
More white space
Less rat race
Thinking and speaking more like Jesus
And being there for those who need us
More “just because” champagne
And more appreciating the rain
To 2025
And a commitment to live more life
Praying each day,
and learning to more say,
“It is well with my soul.”
No matter how the dice roll
🙂
Here are a few snaps from the closing of ’24 and the start of ’25 for us.

Thank you!!! I couldn’t find the tray I normally use, so I went with the skillet instead and it worked out great! 🤩😆
