Two of my best friends and I all have baby girls who are about to embark upon that exciting coming-of-age journey popularly known as KINDERGARTEN! Since our three girls just love each other so much, and since they’ll all three be attending separate schools (crying typing this!) we thought it might be fun to do a little girly weekend getaway celebrating this milestone!
We headed up to Starkville for two days and one night of pure fun, knowing that even though they won’t get to see each other quite as much as they have in the past, they (and their mamas) WILL stay close!! Separate schools cannot get in the way of that! 🙂
My friend Sarah found some adorable pajamas with oranges on them for the girls, which kinda kicked off our “cutie” theme for the weekend! We filled in with some other fun orange things and it turned out super cute!
Each girl got a little prize bag with pajamas, some cutie oranges, a fun sucker, some pipe cleaners to play with, and a couple of other little fun snacks and things. This video of them getting into their bags is THE CUTEST!
I tried to link everything we used to decorate, as well as some similar items and some other items that I wish I had found earlier!! This is a very easy theme for really any kind of party and the girls seriously loved it! I also linked the pajamas and some other cute orangey threads! 🙂 ((Those dresses with oranges on them are FIVE DOLLARS. And come in tons of other patterns! A MUST for active little dress-loving girls like Lily Ryan!))
Last thing– The Kindergarten Cutie banner was a DIY project (very simple– we used card stock and yarn to make it!) so you could totally make one for yourself if you wanted to!
These girls are always fun to celebrate, so I hope we can make a little back-to-school trip a yearly tradition somehow or another!
