Yesterday was the first birthday party of a friend of mine’s sweet little boy, Charlie! My friend asked me to do some invitations and thank you notes for the party and I had SO MUCH FUN designing them (based on the great initial direction she gave me!)
I’m not a graphic designer by any means, but I do enjoy a simple little challenge like this every once in a while, especially when it’s for someone as fun as my friend and her sweet baby!
I was particularly excited to see the picture of the cakes that were made to match the invitaiton!! How CUTE is that smash cake, and how perfect is it with the invitation design?!
I love a theme, and think this woodsy deer theme translated really well! It could not be any more perfect for a boy’s first birthday! I can’t WAIT to see pictures of little baby Charlie with that adorable cake smeared all over his face! 🙂
