My Favorite Beautycounter Products

Beautycounter is easily my favorite beauty brand these days, and has been for several years now! In case you aren’t familiar with this brand, they’ve made it their mission to make clean beauty products accessible. You wouldn’t believe how many chemicals and just plain gross stuff is in most drugstore brand (and even some of the nicer brands!) beauty and makeup products.

I wanted to share the items that I have found to be the most fabulous ones! I’ve had the privilege of trying lots of fun things from this lovely brand, but these listed are my tops!

+ Mineral Sunscreen. This stuff is the bomb! The packaging has changed since I last purchased, but it’s still the same good stuff. I use this as my everyday moisturizer under my concealer and powder and I love it. I don’t feel greasy or extra shiny at all throughout the day!

+ No. 3 Balancing Facial Oil. Y’all. This might be my all time favorite product. So at night after I wash my face, I put three drops of this on my forehead, on my crows feet area, and on my smile lines area. (Three drops total for all areas. Not 3 per area!) I can TOTALLY tell a difference on the mornings that I do this vs. the mornings when I didn’t oil up the night before. I love this stuff and feel like it’s possibly the best thing I do for my skin at this current stage of life. It’s a tad pricey, but it lasts a long time. So I definitely recommend trying it out!

+ Rejuvenating Radiance Serum. I put one pump of this stuff on my crows feet and forehead each morning before putting on my sunscreen and it has just a veeerrrry gentle exfoliating component to it that brightens up that skin first thing in the a.m. Big fan!

+ Makeup Remover. This stuff is Cosmo award winning. I love it- it’s so gentle! Did you know that most eye makeup removers have oils that could be harmful to your eyes, especially if you wear contacts? Yikes! Maybe that’s why my vision was increasingly getting worse for so many years? ha! But seriously… Makes me wonder! This stuff is safe and it WORKS. Love it.

+ Overnight Resurfacing Peel. THIS stuff is LEGIT. I use it about once a week at night right after I wash my face. I’ll be honest- it stings a little bit. But because it’s Beautycounter, I do not have to question if it’s unsafe for my skin. I leave it on for about a minute, then come behind it with my No. 3 Balancing Oil (mentioned above) and when I rub the oil on my skin, there is definitely some exfoliation going on. Not to be gross, but I end up with small clumps of dead skin on my fingers after I rub my face with the oil. Which tells me it’s working! Getting rid of those dead skin cells!

Now that we’ve covered my favorite skin care items, let’s get on to makeup!

+ Eye Shadow Duos. I truly love BC’s eyeshadows. They have beautiful colors and they stay in place. I have experienced no creasing, even at the end of a long day.

+ Satin Powder Blush. This is my everyday stuff. I don’t know if it’s just because I’m getting older, but I feel so incomplete without blush and mascara! I use the color Nectar and I think it’s so pretty and natural looking with my skin color. If you have skin with a similar color to mine, I highly recommend this color!

+ Illuminating Cream Highlighter. This stuff makes me feel SO pulled together! I’m not a makeup pro, but when I finish my look with this highlighter, I feel like I have had professional makeup done! It’s a great way to accentuate the cheeks and brows with minimal effort. It’s perfect for every skin tone and type. This might be one of my all-time favorite BC items!

+ Color Intense Lipstick. I have been using the color Brunch and it is absolutely the most perfect everyday color. It’s a “color-stay” formula so it lasts longer than their other lipsticks. So it’s perfect for those busy days where the last thing you want to have to think about is whether or not you have lipstick on.

+ Sheer Lipstick. I have this in three colors. It adds just the simplest, most natural touch of color. And it tastes freaking amazing! Like cake, actually. So if you’re into lipsticks with pretty colors and delicious tastes, this one is your jackpot.

And that about does it for my Beautycounter favorites! I absolutely love this brand. If you haven’t tried any of their products, don’t wait any longer! You won’t regret it.
