New And Wedding Related!

Happy Wednesday to everybody!

So I had a lot of fun this past weekend because of all of the wedding festivities that took place honoring some of my favorite people!! Allow me to share!

My darling brother-in-law Jesse and his even more adorable fiance, Mary Margaret, had their engagement party Saturday night. And one of my besties, Anna, had a Linens and Lingerie shower on Sunday!

I had the honor and pleasure of designing some little goodies for both occasions!! For the engagement party, MM asked me to do some little thank you tags to attach to all the host gifts handed out that evening. She wanted their names and wedding date inside of a Mississippi on the front, then a sweet little thank you note on the back!

I ended up hand drawing the names on the front and using my new cutter to get all of the tags and Mississippis perfect! I had SO MUCH FUN with this project! And, as always, it was a fabulous learning experience. Here are the finished products!

One of the extras even ended up getting used on a flower arrangement as bar decoration at the engagement party! Yay!

My second fun wedding related project was to do the invitations for my friend Anna’s Linens and Lingerie Shower. Anna isn’t over-the-top girly and likes things on the simpler side so I wanted to keep the invitations feminine and simple, but not overly so. I ended up doing ombre letters (I love me some ombre!) on the shower theme and keeping the rest fairly simple.

Since I wanted to keep the invitations as simple as I could, I made a separate enclosure card with a list of where she was registered and what her sizes were. It ended up being cute in the envelopes!
I also had a blast with these and learned a lot in the process!

I hope all of you are having a great week! Hopefully I’ll get some more blog posts up before the weekend!!

So that’s what those were! I love them. I wish I was still making stuff like this. I have all the tools, but I never have the time. :/

Do it, girl!! I’ve found that you just gotta MAKE time for doing the things you love!
