There’s something I think about regularly with this quarantine that makes me so thankful. Here in Mississippi (and hopefully all across the U.S.!), we have had the most gorgeous weather lately! It’s been sunny and pleasant outside for probably 80-90% of the time we’ve been limited to our home. I think back to the insanely rainy January and February we had and thank God that all of this didn’t hit during that gross season! You know?
I know all of the not going/seeing/doing is hard on everyone, but there really is plenty to be thankful for!
I enjoyed getting my kids dressed up in their springy best (I would say Easter best, but the shirt and jacket I got for Wilson didn’t even make it to us until the Wednesday after Easter! ha!) for a quick little photo sesh on a recent beautiful sunny day. I had already procured Lil’s Easter dress before covid, and couldn’t stop thinking about this little button up for Dempsey, so although it was post covid strike, it came home with me. He’ll wear it all summer (unless he outgrows it like his current eating habits foreshadow!)
And Wilson’s button up and blazer are THE CUTEST THINGS! He felt super cool in them so I’m thinking I’ll be able to get him to wear them to church in the coming months.
