Wishing the biggest, happiest birthday for my swee Wishing the biggest, happiest birthday for my sweet ten year old Wils Wils!!! Oh my goodness I love this child so very much! He is kind, silly, smart, and beautiful (I can say that because I’m his mama!) He loves his friends and family so big and just has this innate something that makes people feel at ease around him. I pray he would continue to grow in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man! Wilson, I’m blessed to get to be your mom!! Keep being YOU!! Happy birthday, my dear love!! 🫶🥳
We stayed in THE CUTEST APARTMENT in Paris! It was We stayed in THE CUTEST APARTMENT in Paris! It was in a gorgeous area surrounded by beautiful views and many magnificent restaurants. This isn’t my best tour video ever 🤣 but I wanted to share a peek anyway. It was precious and made for the perfect home base for a few days. Kudos to @nancywhittington for finding it! Thank you @mymaisoninparis for just being GREAT! ❤️ I would 1000% stay here again if I got the chance!
It’s wonderful to be home now, but boy am I miss It’s wonderful to be home now, but boy am I missing that Innsbruck mountain view! We are soooo grateful that we got to go experience Austria (and Paris and London) as a family!! A trip we will never ever forget! 🥰 I still plan to post more about the @medel_global advocate summit, which was the entire impetus for this trip. Stay tuned!! For now, zoom in on Dempsey’s chocolate covered cheeks and those beautiful mountain!

Tea with my girl in London! 🇬🇧🫖 Goodnes Tea with my girl in London! 🇬🇧🫖 Goodness I love this child and am so tickled by her new goofy face she’s been doing in pictures lately 🤣 She and I had the sweetest conversation recently that left me so grateful for how God draws His kids in. She was upset with me for something I did that she didn’t expect, but it was something I did trying to help her. I ended up saying, “You can be so hard to help sometimes.” She took that to mean that she’s our most difficult kid, and that she’s a “bad kid.” That’s not at all what I meant to say with that statement, but it broke my heart that that’s what she heard. The conversation went on with her saying, “you always get mad at me for being mean to my brothers. But they just bother me so bad! I don’t want to be mean to them but I just am. That’s why I’m a bad kid.” And she cried. And I cried. And I said, “A., you are not a bad kid! You’re a GREAT kid, which is why I want to quickly correct behavior that is less that great. But also, B., what if you start praying each morning for the Lord to fill you with kindness and joy and wisdom? I know that could only help.” And she said she’s prayed for those things before and God doesn’t answer. I was able to point out several instances where she *has* been kind and joyous and displayed wisdom around her brothers. God certainly HAS answered that prayer! Then I said, “if you prayed for God to provide you with a meal and he does, that doesn’t mean you won’t get hungry again tomorrow! Our needs and weaknesses are what keep us coming to Him and in close relationship with Him!” She says she will try to remember to pray that prayer each day. And I told her I’d try to help remind her, and that I’d pray it for her too. And as that convo drew to a close, I found my myself being so thankful of the reminder to draw near to Him with every opportunity. Our weaknesses and shortcomings might just be the things that keep us talking to Him and leaning into Him. As we start a busy week ahead, I hope you find nearness with the Lord! I hope his peace fills you up this joyous season and that you find refuge in Him as you take your brokenness to Him. He’s there and He’s GOOD 🫶🫶🫶
