Lily Ryan’s team took home the gold today, and last Sunday, Wilson’s team took home a gold ring! Then, bless Dempsey’s heart, his team lost his first fall baseball game pretty bad today ☹️ BUT his team’s jerseys are gold! And they’re very handsome dudes! And it’s early early in the season so they’ll for sure get better! Loving this season so much. We are so grateful for all of the awesome teams we get to be a part of! Love these babies! 🏆🙌🌟🫶

We ate at @enzo_osteria last night for probably th We ate at @enzo_osteria last night for probably the last time. I’m so sad they’re closing this month- it had become one of our go-to places! 😢 On the other side of the Enzo-closing-this-month coin is the Taste-opening-in-2025 side! I love @taste.starkville and really look forward to having one closer to home! We love eating out and giving as much love as we can to local restaurants, so this change is bittersweet. You never want to see a place like Enzo close, but you’ve gotta be happy for a place like Taste expanding! This scenario reminds me (on a completely different level) about the chapter of Untangle Your Emotions that talks about the big four emotions. In the joy section, @jennieallen says, “At times I have been in a season of celebration that is difficult to enjoy because so many others are suffering. Being happy feels like betrayal to them, ya know?” The book is SO GOOD (( I know I say that every few days, but really… SO GOOD )) and I highly recommend reading it to see what it says about those bittersweet times! I’m working on trying to untangle my emotions about these restaurants 😅 while (a) trying to squeeze in one more Enzo visit and simultaneously (b) being excited for what’s to come! Thanks for being here for my little thought cloud this morning! 😆 I hope your day is full and joyful and meaningful!! You’re awesome for being here. Is this mascarpone & mixed berry toast not the most gorgeous toast you’ve ever seen?! I can’t get over how pretty it was!
