How was your Labor Day?
I really enjoyed mine– sleeping in, getting some yard work done with Price, getting some cooking and cleaning done, and spending time with friends!
‘Twas wonderful!
Here are few other little lovelies as of late that I wanted to share with y’all!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Reviving this yummy (and super healthy!) pumpkin muffin recipe now that fall is so close…
… Taking my sweet baby girl to the vet when she was sick a few weeks ago and her being extra super sweet the whole visit… She melts me!…
… Getting to make gender reveal cards for my sis-in-law Mary Margaret to be used at their gender reveal last week! I made two boy and two girl options for her to choose from. They passed out envelopes to everyone who was at the party, and all of the envelopes had question marks in them except for one– the one revealing that they’re having a BOY! I have a nephew on the way! Due in January!! 🙂 …
… Enjoying my bump (and some new shoes from Arco!)… 🙂
… Having a Christmas song come on my iPod and not changing it… Is it Christmas yet?!…
… Getting to see my parents’ cute old house in Mobile, AL on the way back from our family beach trip…
… Practicing with some new calligraphy nibs…
… And getting the Jackson Metro section of my Etsy store updated and adding a widget to my sidebar for easy metro access! (You can see that on the left side the blog when you’re on the HOME PAGE!) And you can see the Jackson Metro collection on Etsy HERE! 🙂
What fun stuff have y’all had going on lately? Do tell! 🙂 And have an AWESOME week! Thank you so much for stopping by!!
I had no idea you practiced calligraphy! I cannot get it down pat, it is so difficult to me!!!! I love your bump by the way 🙂
I am not that great at the calligraphy thing, but I’m hoping practice will make perfect! I took a class earlier this year which got me into it! 🙂 And I bet you’re great at it!!! Girl, you’re good at everything you do! 😉
Hello, what kind of script is that in the photo? It looks amazing.Did you use a flexible nib? I’m a begginer in calligraphy and I want to learn as much as possible. Thank you!
Hi! It’s my take on modern calligraphy! Thanks for the compliment! 🙂 I just used a metal nib, but I’m not sure what kind it was! I’m a calligraphy beginner, too, so I don’t know a whole lot myself! Good luck with learning more!!
