The Rum For Whiskey Lovers

It is almost Christmas, everybody!!! I just cannot believe it! It has been a very happy Christmas season around our house, and I hope it has been the same for you!

Before the season completely escapes us, I wanted to share about a rum that I think would make a great Christmas gift for a whiskey lover (or a rum lover!) on your list this year. This Clement rum (rhum, as they spell it), available at Colony Wine Market in Madison, was aged in whiskey barrels so it’s got a great whiskey essence to it. Y’all, it is SO good. And it’s really special because it is unique to Colony Wine Market! They split a barrel with another liquor store in South Mississippi, so there are only two stores in the world that have this exact run of this wonderful spirit! I also love the packaging. It’s basically already wrapped. You just have to stick a bow on it!

I like drinking it neat, but I especially like it with a little lemon and honey mixed with it. It has the best flavor! (For reference, I usually do juice from about a quarter of a lemon, then about a half a tablespoon of honey for about a finger of rum.)

If this rum sounds even remotely like something you’d be interested in, I suggest going to get some before it’s gone. You will not be sorry!

So Price and I were talking last night, and even though Christmas is only a few days away, we agree that Christmas celebrations should last until the new year. No decorations come down before then and any and all excuse to do anything Christmassy shall continue through the end of the year for us! When do y’all consider Christmas to be officially “over?” (Although I don’t think it’s ever really over 🙂 Scrooge said it best when he said, “I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.” Love that!)

Ok y’all be sure to make a trip to Colony Wine Market to get some of this goodness ASAP, then have a MERRY CHRISTMAS! Thank you so much for stopping by today! XO!

Supported by Colony Wine Market. All opinions are my own, as always!
