*Numbers are definitely not everything, but to an “influencer” like me (I hate that word), numbers are certainly helpful in catching the attention of cool brands who might be interested in partnering. This is my primary job now, so I’m trying to keep a good business mind and make money while also producing quality content that you as my reader/follower will enjoy! Although frustrating at times, I’m totally embracing the “slow grow” because it means my following is very genuine and REAL! Unfortunately some influencers purchase followers and likes to inflate their numbers, making us micro influencers look like teeny tiny fish. BUT, brands are starting to understand this and are paying closer attention to the “little folks” more! 🙂 All that to say, THANK YOU if you follow me. I try to keep it happy and fun and REAL.
