Hey friends!
So it’s been a full week since I even touched the blog… I’ve enjoyed a much needed break from lots of things, but I’m excited to get back into a routine (especially since the blog now has a brand new look!)
We had a great family trip to New York but boy did it feel good to get home and sleep in our own bed!
I’m keeping it pretty short today, but there are two things I wanted to mention.
(1) Those Who Speak is tonight! I’m confident it’ll be as great as the past ones! Things get kicked off at 6:00. Here’s the flyer for more info!
(2) WE MET SHAQ IN NEW YORK!
Well, Wilson and I did. Price had walked around the corner for literally two minutes to get some money out of the ATM to pay for his ride to the airport (he left two days early) and this all happened in the two minutes he was gone…
BUT. Shaq was so nice! He walked out of our hotel, walked straight over to me (there were very few people around), and took Wilson out of my arms while simultaneously asking if this was my first child. I was freaking on the inside but tried to remain cool on the outside… Not sure how I did! ha!
Anyway we chatted for a sec. Turns out Shaq has ten kids! He told me to wish Wilson’s daddy a happy late Father’s Day then he went on his way. Then Price showed back up like the second he shut the door to his car!
It was pretty awesome. It was definitely a highlight!
