I’m not sure what it is about me lately, but I have been on a major citrus kick! I’ve been drinking lemonade and grapefruit juice like they’re going out of style! And when we go out to eat, if there’s something with a lemon, lime, orange, or grapefruit influence, I’m all over it.
I’ve always liked citrus, but this newfound love? I can’t explain it.
Anyways…
If there are others who like a little citrus to zest up your day, then I have a really easy recipe for you! CITRUSADE!
It’s basically like lemonade, only it has lemon, lime, orange, and grapefruit! 😉
It’s pretty easy and super yummy. AND, the whole batch has less than 200 calories so it’s pretty diet friendly! Score.
This is for 4 larger or 6 smaller servings!
>> WHAT YOU’LL NEED <<
1 cup fresh citrus juice. (The mix can be of your choosing. I did the juice of 2 lemons, 1 lime, 1 orange, and 1/2 grapefruit)
2 Tablespoons honey
1/2 cup Stevia in the Raw
5 cups water
>> WHAT YOU’LL DO <<
Mix your citrus juice, honey, and stevia together in a bowl or mixing cup until honey and stevia are dissolved. Pour into whatever you want to serve the finished product in. Add the water and mix. Add citrus slices and ice as garnish if you wish! Serve cold and enjoy!
I also experimented and found that adding a small splash of St. Germain to the mix is pretty dang tasty! St. G and citrus were just made to go together! 🙂
Hope you like it! And I hope you had a GREAT weekend! Thanks for stopping by! XOXO!
