I recently teamed up with a local optical shop and had the BEST experience that I just had to share! EyeWorks in Madison, MS was gracious enough to partner up with me and I truly could not be more pleased with my start-to-finish experience with them.
EyeWorks can help you with everything from getting/updating your prescription with a comprehensive eye exam to fitting you for contacts (I have recently learned that I have astigmatism, and they fixed me up with some more comfortable contacts) to helping you select the perfect glasses in their optical shop!
Dr. Arnold, who performed my eye exam, was SO friendly and easy to talk to, and his staff was quick, efficient, and courteous! I’ve known Dr. Arnold for a while so it was great catching up with him!
I wasn’t fully pleased with the type of contacts I’d been wearing since my last eye exam a few years ago, so he suggested something else and I’ve loved them! Then Amanda Peagler over in the optical shop, who happens to be married to a guy I grew up going to church with, was so helpful without being pushy. And I was so impressed with the selection of frames they had. I ended up getting some Furla frames that I thought were pretty current, yet timeless! Amanda said they’re constantly getting in more frames, and they have something for just about everyone. All price points, all styles… Including sunglasses!
Another thing to note: My prescription is pretty strong. My eyes are BAD. Bat status over here! So my lenses would normally need to be pretty thick. Thankfully, EyeWorks has the capability of making lenses much thinner than they would normally be, and for that I am so grateful!
