Fashinspiration: The Chambray A Different Way

Elish’s look this week is one I’m obsessed with! Yeah, she looks super cute (as always!) but my favorite thing about this look is how she uses a trusty chambray shirt for layering in an unconventional way. LOVE it! Take a gander…

1. What inspired you to put this look together? It’s so different but, of course, it totally works!

My sister actually inspired this look! I just stayed with her in Baton Rouge. While her style is much more boho and hippie, I really admire how she pairs things. She wore a denim button down under a knit dress and it was cute and relaxed. I re-created my own version.

2. Which component of this look is your favorite?

The boots- they are casual but cute. I like how they tone down the stones on the dress.

3. Can you share where a few of the pieces are from por favor?

My button down is Converse for Target, dress is Banana Republic, and the shoes are Seychelles from Libby Story.

4. How else have you worn this dress? I love it!

This dress is great! It is deceptively comfortable but has a little bling. I’ve worn it with pumps and jewelry, tights and heeled boots, and mixed like with this outfit.

5. Anything else?
I love finding new ways to wear old pieces.
