It’s FRIIIIDAYYY! Yay! For me, that means lots of QT with my babies for three days in a row! We have some fun Christmas stuff planned this weekend, both during the day and at night!
It’s actually been a pretty fun week of Christmas stuff. A few days ago, I had a long day that started with a breakfast meeting, then a coffee meeting, then errand running, then kid grabbing, then working from home for a few hours, then going out to dinner! It was a lot. But most of it was festive, so I wanted to have some fun with what I wore that day!
This top from Long Tall Sally was just what I needed to add some shine to my day without blinding people! And the soft lavender color is just gorgeous. I seriously think I got ten compliments on it throughout that day! It’s definitely at the top of my list of favorite items right now.
It was so nice having one outfit that could adapt to my entire crazy day! There was one time when I looked down during a quick moment of stress and told myself, “Ok you have shiny stuff on today. You cannot get stressed!” and it actually worked! 🙂
Shiny stuff = great de-stressor! 😉
