I’ve recently partnered with my friends at Madison Marketplace, located on Madison Avenue in Madison, MS, and have had so much fun getting to know their shop a little better!

Madison Marketplace is a really neat little place located inside of an old house built in 1860! (Local friends, it’s right next to Greek restaurant Kristos if you’re familiar with that!) It served as a residence until the 1980s and then was a restaurant for a short period of time before becoming a retail space. And it’s been home to Madison Marketplace since 2015!

This place really is so cool. It is home to over 50 Mississippi artists and makers, with several regional artists and makers mixed in! Each artist/shop/maker has its own little space or shelf or table, so there’s a lot of fun stuff everywhere you turn! They have everything from art, jewelry, and pottery to baby gifts and food!

I took the liberty of locating a few of my personal favorite items in this shop for you to fall in love with! But believe me, there is SOOOOO MUCH MORE!

This little collection is by one of my favorite mother/daughter duos! Mrs. Sharon does the pottery and her daughter Rachel does the art. I have several of Sharon and Rachel’s pieces and LOVE THEM!!!

Loved the simplicity of these little canvases! These are in the front room to the right when you first walk in the door!

I have recently FALLEN IN LOVE with MC Designs Jewelry! They have a ton of different pieces… I’ve been wearing their earrings almost nonstop lately! Here are some pieces I don’t have (yet) but ADORE!

These little morse code necklaces are so neat and different, and they happen to be right next to my friend Roz’s jewelry! Roz does Chic’d Out Designs and her stuff is almost as fun as she is!

These candles were absolutely fabulous… As are most of the candles in this place! I’m such a sucker for a great candle!

I never would’ve gone into Madison Marketplace with the “I’m gonna do some clothes shopping” midset, but I’m here to tell you… They had some SUPER cute clothes! I was very pleasantly surprised!!

If you and I have been around food together in recent weeks, you’ve probably heard me mention my new favorite fact about Madison, Mississippi: Piroulines are made in Gluckstadt!!! WHO KNEW?! Says it right there on the can. I thought they were French because of the name and because of how fancy they are! But nope, they are made right here! I love this fact so much and it makes me love Piroulines even more than I did before (which I did not know was possible!)

And speaking of food… They have some delicious homemade breads, some awesome dip mixes (truly some of my favorite dips!) and MUCH more!

Those hand painted bath bombs would be so cute for Easter baskets! My kids LOVE A BATH BOMB!

Ok last thing, then I’ll let ya go! When Madison Marketplace was revamping the space several years back, they found this awesome photo in the wall where the fireplace used to be! Apparently during the civil war, families hid valuables in fireplaces because, in the event of their homes being burned down, usually fireplaces were the only parts of the home to “survive” the fires! This photo was accidentally left behind! It’s neat to see a photo of some of the people who likely lived in the home so long ago!
