Hey y’all! Welcome back from the weekend! I hope you had a great one! Ours was really good. After our vacay to Dallas last week, which was super fun by the way, we enjoyed a low key weekend around the house. Good times!

I got to wear a really pretty dress yesterday that I am so excited to share with y’all! This pretty green polka dot frock is from our local maternity boutique, Posh Bump, which I shared about in this post! Polka dots are huge this summer (but honestly I love them even when they’re not in) and I’ve always been a big fan of green! So this dress totally spoke to me. It’s the loveliest lightweight material, it’s lined, and I love the fluttery detail at the top! I love a good sash (does that word sound old school to anyone else? I’m giggling as I type it!) too because it helps create the illusion of some sort of waist, even when there really isn’t one 😉

Here are some similar pieces to what I’m wearing, plus several other pretty polka dot pieces I just lurve 🙂

So far, this pregnancy has been my hardest, but I think it’s also been the best because I know first hand how awesome parenthood is, despite having two very very different kids. Number three can’t help but be awesome, no matter his personality, right?! I was chatting with my cousin last night whose third baby is due a couple of weeks before ours, and she reminded me of how scripture talks about children being blessings. Then she said she has to remind herself even through the really tough parenting moments that they still are blessings even if they’re being little turds! 😉 Which really made me think– nobody said blessings would always be easy!! But I think that the lessons we learn, especially through the tough blessings, are the best lessons. They’re the ones we best remember. That’s how it is for me anyway!

Ok I’ll let y’all get on with your day! Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by today! You are amazing — I hope you already knew that —  and I hope you have just the best day! 🙂 Blessings to you! XOXO!
