Room’s Ready!

As of this week, little girl’s room is officially finished! I feel like a weight has been lifted now that I have everything in order in there! All her clothes are washed, her stuff is organized, shelves are hung, and all furniture and accessories that I envisioned are in… All that good stuff! (I did decide today that maybe an extra throw pillow in the swivel glider would be good, but I can wait on that!)

Here’s what things are looking like in there. I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out!

This project was really fun for me, as you could imagine! There are a couple of things we used from Wilson’s nursery, like the swivel glider (from here), the shaggy stool (made by me from this), and the changing table (now only available in chocolate), and the crib, which is exactly the same as the one Wilson has just because I loved it so much! (The shipping charges on the crib are ridic but I did split a big order with my sis-in-law so we were able to divide the shipping charges out a little, which helped!)

The crib sheets and awesome diaper bag are from row10, the Turkish oushak rug was a lucky find on ebay, the art was a commission by the uber talented Cecily Lowe at View Gallery, the side table is from West Elm, and the felt garland over the changing table is from this adorable etsy shop! I also had some fun making the mobile and the art over the changing table!

My sweet niece Rowan was kind enough to loan us some of her fabulous wardrobe, so those precious boots are some of the fun items we will get to enjoy for a while! I’m so excited to dress this new little chica! 🙂 🙂 🙂 I’m sure you’ll see some more Rowan loans in the very near future!

We only have about two weeks (maybe less?!) until we get to meet this little love, so please keep us in your prayers if you think about it! We are so excited but of course I’m a tad nervous about going through labor again, since it isn’t the most fun! Ha! But I know it’ll all be great and totally worth it!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope y’all have had a great week and are gearing up for a fun weekend!!

(( Unrelated reminder– Don’t forget about the Jackson Metro FLASH SALE! It ends tonight! ))

XOXO!

I just stumbled upon your blog while looking for white paint inspiration. This is an adorable nursery–you have great decorating taste! And I love the white walls! Do you know what the paint color and brand is?

Hey! Thank you so much! And yes! The color is Palest Pistachio by Benjamin Moore! It is ever so slightly soft blue/gray/green. It’s really really great in person!!

Where can I find the adorable prints hanging over the dresser and changing pad?

I am so glad you like those! I actually did them with pencil and water color! They’re so simple. I bet you could do some very similar for yourself!!
