Seaside Bonfire

Hello friends! I hope y’all had a great weekend! We had a good/very busy one! We got home from the beach yesterday so getting back in the groove, getting laundry done, and trying to prep for the coming week is always a bit tough! But worth it for a trip to Gulf Shores, AL!

We went with Price’s mom’s side of the fam and had a total blast. There were about 30 of us in a biiiiig house! Five of the 30 were nine months or under! So it was quite an exciting time, as you could imagine!

One of my favorite things we did on the trip was a beachside cookout! We all packed it up and went down to the beach for a waterside evening of hotdogs and s’mores! If a bonfire and/or s’mores are involved, I’m all in!

It was a perfect night and I think a lot of fun was had by all!

Wilson tried to eat a handful of sand, which he did not enjoy, but other than that, he did really well on the beach! I was so proud of him!

After a couple of tries, I was able to get my marshmallow juuuuuust right…. I like mine super well toasted so they’re super soft all the way through. I usually end up burning one or two before getting it just how I like it. Price, on the other hand, wants his mallows barely heated up! What a weirdo. How do you like your s’more marshmallows?

The night couldn’t have gone better if we’d planned it. So thankful to have married into such a fun family!
