Sweater Weather. I’ve really been loving it! Today in Mississippi, it’s a snow day. We don’t really react very appropriately to winter weather sometimes, so all schools are closed today, yet very few businesses are (because it barely snowed), creating a little bit of an issue for us working mamas! I work part time, and today has been tricky, so I know the full times mamas are experiencing a little bit of WTH brain… ha!
I’m able to get a little bit of work done while my kids are in the day care at the country club we are members of, so I’m very thankful for that! Glad that child care option wasn’t closed! 😉
This afternoon I do plan to get outside with the babies since it’s such a beautiful day (full sunshine, very little snow) and love on them and make some memories during these “long days, short years” (which I really have found to be true. Days really are long sometimes, but the years evaporate! I’m crying typing that… What is wrong with me!? Oh, I’m a mom. That’s right! And I’m still hormonal from birthing Dempsey. Ok this is normal… ha!)
Trying to soak in these “long days” can be hard sometimes, but oh is it rewarding. Embracing the moments when Wilson wants to come outside and take pictures with me when Price is shooting a look for me is SO SWEET and worth spending a few extra minutes doing. These pictures with him are some of my current faves. Man I love my family and kissing and bandaging those sweet little hurt fingers! (Crying again. OMG! haha Why didn’t I just go ahead and switch to waterproof mascara for daily wear?)
What are y’all doing on this “snow day?” Hope you’re able to find some silver linings even if it’s been a tiny bit inconvenient! 😉
And thank y’all so much for reading!! You know it means the world to me! XO!
Loved our snow day visit this morning!! Totally right with you on the emotional crying all the time!! Love that you always keep it real. Xoxo xoxo 💋
Yes, so glad we were able to get some chatting in! Love you, friend!! XO!
Getting to spend the day with our 8 yr old granddaughter due to “snow”! She’s learning to play chess in her venture class so she and Coach (Bob) are playing games! Planning to teach her to cross stitch.
That’s so fun! I bet Coach is a fun guy to play chess with 🙂 And I would love to learn to cross stitch one of these days, too! How FUN!!
