Cheers to Christmas!! It is such an honor to have Cheers to Christmas!! It is such an honor to have been included in @rabbithole_lostrabbit’s new holiday cocktail menu! I, along with four others, got to create cocktails for a *limited time only* drink menu! My drink is called the Very Merry Bourbon Cranberry and it’s quite lovely! I had some solid help in getting it juuuust right (looking at you @sarahbethmontgomery & @pricedonahoo!) It’s got Knob Creek and St Germaine (sounds weird I know, but trust me!!) plus some lemon, rosemary, and cranberry! It’s super fun, sweet but not too sweet, and something that Price and I both really enjoy! I’ll share more later, but for now, it’s time to pick a date and make plans to get to The Rabbit Hole, enjoy some DELICIOUS food, and have a Very Merry Bourbon Cranberry! 🥰❤️🥃 📸: the fabulous @tristanduplichain
A week ago today, we said goodbye to the sweetest A week ago today, we said goodbye to the sweetest dog God ever created 🐶 Ringo came into our lives in February of 2012 through a friend who found him as a 3-4ish month puppy in the freezing cold on the side of the road behind Madison Central. We already had two dogs and “didn’t need another one,” but we said we would foster him until our friend found him a permanent home. After only a few hours, Price and I knew we could never let this pup go! He actually entered the scene on the same day that one of my childhood dogs, Kenzie, passed away at my parents’. Divine timing 🥰 Ringo had this air of humility and gratitude and honestly just pure LOVE about him. He was meek and gentle and simply wonderful. The vet guessed, based on his initial checkup when he was still little, that he’d grow to be about 30 pounds. He was 80 🤣 When I think about that song GoD and DoG, I think that somehow the lady who wrote that song knew Ringo. (If you’re not familiar, please go look it up on YouTube!) We didn’t know Ringo’s actual birthday, but the vet guessed it was around Thanksgiving of 2011. So we assigned Thanksgiving day 2011, which was 11/24, as his birthday! He had just celebrated 14 years before he passed peacefully in his bed next to ours last Wednesday morning. He took little pieces of our hearts with him and we are better people because of this dear dog. Ringo, we love you forever!!! Our hearts (and our front door which for some reason you loved to chew on 🤪) will never be the same. We miss you SO MUCH, you stinky old man! 💛💔🥺 Also— @lccainart did this portrait of Ringo many moons ago and I have absolutely loved it since day one. She is SO talented!!

Snoopy and I would like to show you our decorated Snoopy and I would like to show you our decorated @kingofchristmas flocked, pre-lit 9’ noble fir tree! I’ve loved it since the moment I saw it online and to have it here in my home and decorated is a dream! This is our “pretty tree” where all the ornaments are gold and silver and more “fancy!” (#ad) After thanksgiving we will put up the full-color, everything-goes tree! 😂 For now, though, I sure am enjoying this monochromatic beauty!
