My friend Nicole (follow her here— she’s the CUTEST!) showed this dress in a try on recently, and I immediately fell in LOVE!! I bought it immediately and haven’t regretted it for one second!
You cannot help but smile when you’re wearing this cutie. A few things to note if you are interested in getting one for yourself! (1) It’s very generous, so you can absolutely size down. I’m wearing a small! (2) It’s made to be a maxi, but a small on me is more like a midi because I’m so tall and because in normal cases I’m usually a medium. (3) The tag on mine is super small (which is nice and great!) but because of that, I didn’t see the tag at first, so I have been wearing it backwards! haha the tie is supposed to go in the BACK! BUT, I kinda love the tie in the front! So it’s more versatile than you might originally think! 😉 (4) I’m not sure you would buy this dress for a great fit or for a certain neckline, though… You’re buying it for the JOY of that PATTERN!!! I hope you are having the most amazing week and are finding joy in each day– even the hard ones! This scripture was in a pretty instagram post that stood out to me this morning and it really enhanced my mindset today:
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
I hope that this reminds you that if you love Jesus, every detail has a purpose. Even the crappy details. He’s working for the good of those who love Him! And that good may not even really be evident on this side of Heaven. But stay prayerful, keep that faith, and know that you rest in the hands of a GOOD GOOD FATHER.
