I hope this week is going well for y’all!
Ok so I have two REALLY awesome events that, if you live in the Jackson area or are up for a road trip, would be great to attend! They occur within two days of one another so it’d be the perfect excuse for a little Mississippi getaway! 😉
The first event is on Thursday, May 9 and it is a designer showcase and book signing with BARRY DIXON! He is one heck of a designer and world famous in the Interior Design realm! He’s coming to SummerHouse, which everyone needs to see anyway! There are a few more details on this event here, on the SummerHouse blog!
The second really spectacular event is on Saturday, May 11 and it’s called Stray at Home Art & Music Festival. It’s going to be SO MUCH FUN! Last year was Stray at Home’s first year, and this year it’s going to be bigger and better! It’ll be in downtown Jackson and there will be music and art vendors from all over the southeast showing off their talents. Craft beer, local food, a great excuse to buy some funky goods while listening to some groovy tunes… What’s not to get excited about?!
