Army and Olive

ARMY & OLIVE // an obsession with deep shades of green on www.thehiveblog.com

I’m going through a serious dark green phase right now. It seems that many of the things that have caught my eye lately have been some shade of army green or olive green! Not only do darker greens almost serve as neutrals, but they’re pretty on everyone, no matter what color skin or hair you have! This green on green combo has been a go-to lately for me. (I honestly think I’ve worn this shirt and jacket together like four times in the past 3 or 4 weeks. I like what I like!)

I hope your Monday is off to a good start. I’ll tell you what– I’m worn out from my weekend of getting things done, but it felt so good to mark so many things off my list!! If you follow me on snapchat (laureldonahoo) then you got to see a bunch of the projects I conquered during what I called my “power weekend” of no kids (sweet in-laws asked to keep them) and no husband (because he had to go on a weekend business trip!) I’ll try to get a post together soon with some of the things I got to! Then we got to celebrate Halloween in the hood and of course had a total blast getting the whole family dressed up. (I busted out this old number!)

Hoping for a not-too-crazy week ahead, but you just never know! 😉

Don’t forget that today is the last day to enter this giveaway! Good luck to you guys! I’ll select a winner tonight! 🙂 Have a great day! XO! And Happy Halloween!

So cute! I am always drawn to olive during the fall. It just feels right. I am really jealous you got so much done this weekend because I definitely did not. Weekend fail.

Haha you won’t be jealous when I tell you that this was my first weekend completely alone and not pregnant in almost 3 years!! I was able to be surrounded by paint fumes without anyone else at home for the first time in forevs!! I’m excited to watch the progress on your home!!
