Before I had a little girl, I was never a major fan of pink. I didn’t hate it, but I certainly didn’t just love it. Even when I was pregnant with her and knew she was a girl, I still didn’t go all out on pink stuff.
I decorated Lily Ryan’s nursery fairly neutrally (which you can see here!) but things have since taken a turn for the girlier. And I seriously love it!
It all started with this rug. A friend of mind ordered it and it just didn’t quite fit her space so I bought it from her because not only was it great looking, it was a killer price! ($300 for 8×10! It’s currently on sale and comes in multiple sizes!)
I like how the rug worked with the art we already had in there (which was a commission through VIEW GALLERY in Jackson!)
Once I put the rug in there, I started bringing in more and more pink. And the more I brought in, the happier I got with the room! Over the past few months, this room has morphed from little girl nursery into fun big girl room! I’ve been pretty happy with the progress! 🙂

To add to the pink fun, we are LOVING baby girl’s new Rags romper! How fun is this thing?! Pops of pink are extra interesting when they’re just a little different from the norm! Don’t be scared to step out of the box just a little bit! 🙂

Man I love that little lady so much!!! She is such a sweetheart! 🙂 <3 And she is hilarious, as you might can gather from pictures! 🙂 She keeps us laughing!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I appreciate your company! 🙂 Have a GREAT day! XO!
her room looks adorable and your home wears “our art” well !!!
SO gorgeous!! I love her room and that rug! I am a pink freak, and I try to work it in whenever I can. Our living room started out as navy and white with some yellow (because Charlie doesn’t like pink), and then I slowly started switching out the yellow for pink. Oops! If I had a little girl, it would be a giant pink explosion.

Haha this comment made me laugh out loud!! I can almost guarantee Charlie has not noticed the switch of yellow for pink! 😉
